Coaching has many similarities to counseling and psychotherapy. All are conversational methods for gaining new insights into ourselves and creating opportunities for change. Counseling and/or psychotherapy is a healthcare service and is often reimbursable through health insurance policies. This is not true for coaching, though you may be able to use a wellness or personal development stipend to pay for coaching through your employer. Both coaching and psychotherapy utilize knowledge of human behavior, motivation, behavioral change, and interactive counseling techniques. Coaching focuses on developing and implementing strategies that will help you reach your goals of enhanced performance and higher personal satisfaction.

My coaching approach helps tech professionals and leaders develop strategies to reach career goals, enhance performance, and increase job satisfaction. As a Professional Certified Coach with the ICF, I’m gentle, direct, and challenging. All work is conducted in accordance with the International Coach Federation Code of Ethics so your privacy and confidentiality are fully protected.

20-30 Minute Discovery Call – No Obligation

Before committing to coaching, it’s essential we have good chemistry and coachable goals to work on together.

During our discovery call, we’ll discuss your current career situation and goals, explore whether coaching is right for you, and determine if we’re a good fit to work together. I’ll answer your questions about the coaching process and share details about my background and approach. Typically, we’ll know within 15-20 minutes if coaching makes sense for your situation. This consultation helps you make an informed decision about investing in your career development.

If another coach would better serve your specific goals, like a C-Suite executive coach or an industry-specific specialist, I’ll refer you to trusted associates. My priority is finding you the right support, even if that’s not me.

Coaching Sessions & Scheduling

Virtual Sessions via Phone or Video

All coaching is conducted remotely, serving tech professionals across the United States. Most sessions are 60 minutes, though occasionally they may run longer depending on your needs and the situation.

For scheduling, you have complete flexibility to self-schedule at times that fit your calendar. Corporate Leadership Coaching clients typically meet bi-weekly, while Career Coaching and Job Search clients follow a customized meeting cadence tailored to their timelines. Busy professionals can also opt for 30-minute sessions since services are sold by the hour and can be configured to work best for your needs and schedule.

Available appointment times run Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (last appointment start time), and on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (last appointment start time), so I can accommodate East Coast time zones as well.

Between-Session Support

I’m 100% available during work hours for quick coaching between scheduled sessions via “laser coaching” by phone, email, or text. This means you can reach out with on-topic questions, urgent career decisions, interview-prep emergencies, and request offer-negotiation guidance, and get real-time support when you need it most. This continuous access ensures you have support during critical career moments, not just during scheduled sessions.

Coaching Rates & Packages

Our first discussion is a 20-30 minute complimentary conversation about you and what you’d like to achieve through coaching (and for both of us to get to know each other). You never have to decide on the phone. After our call, I will send an email covering the coaching we discussed, which you can share with the people in your life who make decisions with you. If you decide I am the right coach, you reply to the email. Once I receive your confirmation, I will onboard you and we’ll get started.

Tech Career Consulting & Job Search Package: $1,289

This is a complete job search solution for tech professionals navigating layoffs, career pivots, or seeking new opportunities.

The package begins with a professional resume refresh that creates an ATS-optimized tech resume in formats for software engineers, product managers, or engineering managers. Your resume receives keyword optimization for target roles and companies, achievement-focused formatting that passes applicant tracking systems, and two rounds of revisions to perfect it.

Your LinkedIn profile gets a comprehensive optimization, including my seven-point profile update for maximum recruiter visibility on LinkedIn Recruiter, keyword optimization for your profile page summary, a profile headline rewrite, and a skills and endorsement strategy to increase your profile views.

For job search strategy and tactics, you’ll receive time-saving application strategies, networking outreach templates and scripts, company research and target list development, and salary research with negotiation preparation.

You gain access to two specialized coaches: me, your Lead Career Coach, handling strategy, resumes, and job search, plus an Interview Prep Specialist who conducts mock interviews and provides detailed feedback.

The package includes over 10 hours of coaching covering career clarity and goal setting, resume and LinkedIn strategy sessions, job search tactics and application optimization, interview preparation and mock interviews, offer evaluation and salary negotiation, and onboarding strategy for your new role.

Throughout the process, you receive continuous support through between-session laser coaching via email and text, interview prep on short notice, offer negotiation in real-time, and support through your entire job search process from application through offer acceptance.

Most clients move from package start to offer acceptance within a typical timeline of 3 to 4 months. This package is best for tech professionals facing layoffs, career pivoters, mid-career professionals seeking advancement, and anyone committed to landing their next role efficiently.

Pay-As-You-Go Coaching

Single 60-minute sessions are available for $225 for the first two sessions; if you’d like to work on more, the price drops to $175 per session. This option is perfect for interview prep, resume review, specific career questions, LinkedIn optimization, or trying coaching before committing to a package. You can self-schedule at your convenience. If you want to commit to a six-session package, I can offer you a special rate.

Payment & Logistics

All sessions must be paid in full before we meet. I accept all major credit cards and absorb the 3% fee.

All major credit cards are accepted through secure online payment processing, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Invoicing is available for corporate and startup coaching programs.

For scheduling and cancellations, I use an easy online self-scheduling system. I request a 24-hour cancellation notice when possible, though I offer rescheduling flexibility for busy professionals when life happens.

Sessions can be conducted via video or by phone. Session recordings and/or AI-assisted note-taking are optional, subject to our mutual consent.
